Storyline

David Duchovny (The X-Files) and Academy Award winner, Timothy Hutton (Ordinary People), star in this intense and twisted film about playing hard, playing fast and PLAYING GOD.

He is a gifted surgeon with his future mapped out. But the untold hours takes its toll and Eugene Sands starts using drugs to perform. When it costs a patient’s life and his Doctor’s license, Eugene’s own life spirals out of control – he lives on the bread line, surviving on drugs alone.

The Eugene’s future takes a bizarre turn. He saves the life of a stranger in a bar, is given $10,000 for his trouble and offered a new job by the local crime lord – as surgeon to the mob. It’s an opportunity Eugene cannot refuse – and a decision that throws him in the centre of a violent world where every move you make, every breath you take, is watched.
