Storyline

Author Vassily Grossman finds that twenty years after The Battle Of Stalingrad his great war novel Life And Fate is to be banned by the KGB and yet formerly he was respected by the front-line soldiers of that conflict for his realistic portrayal of their plight.

This new play written by Sebastian Baczkiewicz and directed by Mark Burman marked the 50th anniversary of Stalin's death and the 60th anniversary of The Battle Of Stalingrad itself.
